So you don't think euthanasia is dangerous? Maybe this might change your mind
I don't feel at all qualified to speak on behalf of people living with disability even though I have shared in the lives of many people over the years and I have a son with Down Syndrome. Certainly, my association with other families who have children with Downs and spending time with dear friends with disabilities has enriched my perspective, but I don't want to stand in a public space on this issue principally because people living with disabilities can and do speak well for themselves. It is they who we should be listening to.

Protest in Belgium targets child euthanasia and the 'toothless' government euthanasia commission
300 people gathered yesterday outside the Belgian headquarters of the Belgian Euthanasia Control and Evaluation Commission, the body charged by the government to control the use and application of the 2002 euthanasia laws, to protest at the ineffectiveness of the commission and also at the amendments to the law to allow euthanasia for children.(NB: The organizers claim that 500 protesters were present)
