With the Queensland Parliament set to legalise euthanasia and assisted suicide in the state this year, a parliamentary petition initiated by Cherish Life Queensland is calling on the state government to urgently address the gross underfunding of palliative care in the state and to refer any bill to a parliamentary committee for scrutiny and wide community consultation.
